I can’t believe it’s been just over a year since I was fortunate enough to attend what was an absolutely amazing Disney event for the release of Zootopia. Some of the highlights included reviewing Disney Parks, Interviewing the lush Jason Bateman and staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, not only was the trip amazing, it was lots of work, good work, work that I absolutely love doing. I met some amazing bloggers and learned so much from many of the creative and inspiring people who have really taken their blogs and jobs to the next level. This time, I am heading to San Francisco for the #Cars3Event and as a huge racing and Cars the movie fan, this event is going to be out of this world and I can’t thank Disney enough for being included, I am excited to work super hard and do the job I love!
We have lots of things planned for the event and there is more information to come but it’s going to be super interesting and a little bad ass! I will also be posting on Snapchat, Twitter and Instagram throughout the events so make sure to follow @hustlelyn on all 3!
Here is what will be happening!
On Monday March 27th myself and 24 other bloggers will have a reception at PIXAR and see footage for Cars 3 which is opening in theaters on 6/16! We will also get to see a screening of the super cute short film LOU!
Tuesday March 28th we will be heading to attend a press day at the Sonoma Raceway for CARS 3 where we will get the chance to interview Director Brian Fee, Producer Kevin Reher and various animators! We will get to take a lap around the racetrack in a real racecar (bad ass right??), learn how to quickly change out a tire at a pit stop and go on a tour of the garage. We will also screen the amazingly cute Disneynature film Born In China that opens in theaters 4/21!!
On Wednesday March 29th we will head back to Pixar to learn all about Pixar in a Box followed by a special screening of the series premiere episode of “The Toy Box” the ultimate toy-competition series, which will provide talented designers with the chance of a lifetime: an opportunity to bring their toy concept to life with industry-giant Mattel and to the shelves of Toys ”R” Us the day after the series finale. Inventors present their toy concepts to a group of mentors that include Pixar Creative Director of Consumer Products Jen Tan, who will be available for an exclusive Q&A after the screening. The eight-episode series hosted by Eric Stonestreet (“Modern Family”) premieres on Friday, April 7th at 8/7c on ABC!
We will also be joining Disney Junior for a special screening of the upcoming animated series “Puppy Dog Pals,” which stars fun-loving pug puppy brothers Bingo and Rolly, whose thrill-seeking appetites take them on adventures in their neighborhood and around the globe. Whether helping their owner, Bob, or assisting a friend in need, the pugs’ motto is that life is more exciting with your best friend by your side. Premiering April 2017, the series features two 11-minute stories that showcase Bingo and Rolly’s similarities and differences and demonstrate positive lessons about friendship, problem-solving, collaboration, creativity and adventure!
Following the screening we will participate in a Q&A with Sean Coyle (executive producer) and Diane Ikemiyashiro (Disney Junior creative executive)! Pugs are the cutest!
