Have you seen the Goosebumps Movie? When I was a kid, I read EVERY SINGLE Goosebumps book and every single Point Horror novel, I pretty much loved anything written by R.L. Stine. Every time a new Goosebumps book would come out, I’d beg my mom to go to the bookstore so we could pick it up, once I had read all of the Goosebumps books, I then moved onto point horrors. Needless to say I was SUPER excited when they started bringing out Goosebumps shows and movies, I love seeing my favorite stories come to life! I love the nostalgia and I LOVE that my little ones can grow up reading and watching what I loved as a kid.
To celebrate the release of Goosebumps 2, Sony Home Pictures Entertainment sent us a super fun package with a treasure box, a zillion gummies, ingredients to create and decorate some cooking creations and some other goodies!
This last week has been super busy and we still haven’t gotten around to making all of the fun ideas sent over but we did do a few and my kids and I had SO much fun, it was great spending time together doing the #Goosebumps2Gummies challenge!
The first fun experiment we did was “Science with Slappy”, as a kid, Slappy the Dummy probably freaked me out the most but I LOVED the story, it really drew me in as pretty much every other Goosebumps book did!
Our next project was Chocolate Bark, Ours didn’t turn out beautiful but the whole point was for the kids to have fun. They decided to decorate with sprinkles and give it a spooky face (The white chocolate part). They had so much fun and it was probably one of their favorite experiments because, well, kids and chocolate = LOVE.
I then had a little fun and created my own gummy bear holiday Mocktails! We were sent a funny recipe which I didn’t follow completely (sorry!), but I decided to add a bunch of gummy bears inside my glass for a little extra flavor with some mango juice and a sugar rimmed side!
I feel like the last few days have just been filled with fun and celebrations, my son and I even got to watch the Goosebumps 2 Movie on digital. I won’t spoil it for you but if you or your kids are Goosebumps fans, this is a MUST watch and you’ll see some of your favorite spooks come to life, and, now, I have some Goosebumps 2 Goodies ready for you to download!
Be careful what you wish for. With their after school junk business, best friends Sonny and Sam hope to find treasure in other people’s trash. But when cleaning out the old Stine house, they open a locked book that frees a supernatural nightmare Slappy!
Now, with the help of Sonny’s sister Sarah, they’re in a race against time to get the sinister dummy and all the creatures he’s brought to life back into the pages before he unleashes total pandemonium!
